STUDIO TRAVELER'S 'BIO' IS REALLY SHORT AND SWEET...

while mine is considerably longer...

Studio Traveler has been offering cultural travel since January 2012.  Clients have included a wide variety of museums and other non-profits: The North Carolina Aquarium; The Block Museum, Northwestern University; The Contemporary Art Museum of Raleigh; The Museum Trustee Association; The North Carolina Museum of Art; North Carolina Opera; Preservation Greensboro, Inc.; The Paul J. Ciener Botanical Garden; Reynolda House Museum of American Art; The University of North Carolina at Greensboro Emeritus Program and Weatherspoon Art Museum.

Studio Traveler’s list of destinations is long and growing: Bath; Berlin; Buenos Aires; Cape Town; Chicago, Dallas; Dresden; Havana; Leipzig; Lisbon; London; Los Angeles; Marfa, Texas; Munich; New York; Quebec City; Palm Springs; Philadelphia; Portland, Maine; Porto; Santa Fe; Venice and Washington D.C.  Each one a special place...

My bio on the other hand is considerably longer.  I have degrees in painting and in design.  For four years in the early 2000’s, I owned and operated Pain Ordinaire, a small artisanal bread bakery.  In the 'oughts', I served as the founding director of the Public Art Endowment at the Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro. Those are but two examples of a long and varied career which seem to have inevitably lead to this very happy culmination that is Studio Traveler. In May of 2017, after living in Greensboro, North Carolina, for nearly twenty five years, my husband David and I moved to the coastal village of Beaufort, North Carolina .  We feel lucky to now call this beautiful place home.

I will close by what I believe could be considered a mission statement for Studio Traveler. That people place their confidence in the quality of the experience they will have on a Studio Traveler trip never fails to be a source of delight and gratitude.  It seems the very least that Studio Traveler can do in return is to create a meaningful, stress-free and fun travel experience.

Thanks and I hope to see you soon!
